Bio of Host and Executive Producer, Eric Spencer

In addition to being 28-year-old Host and Executive Producer of "The Creative Mind Behind with Eric Spencer," Eric Spencer is the co-author of the bestselling book, Get Between The Covers: Leave A Legacy By Writing A Book.

Eric is the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Investor Relations for Universa Investments L.P., a notable hedge fund out of Santa Monica, California. He is one of four principals, along with New York Times Bestselling Author Nassim Taleb.

He is represented by Five Star Speakers and Trainers, and he speaks nationwide about publishing, unlocking creativity, unlimited futures, and entrepreneurship. He was recently one of the featured speakers at the AARP National Convention.

Through his publishing portal at www.getbetweenthecovers.com, Eric and his partners plan to underwrite the publication of dozens of new authors, primarily students, each year. They will also facilitate collaborations between students and other students and seniors and other seniors.

On the writing side of his life, he has seven books in development, including a self-help novel/parable due out in 2008 (Mitch Albom meets Spencer Johnson with humor mixed in), two corporate thrillers, and a non-fiction humor series slated for publication in 2009.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University. He also earned the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) from The American College.

Eric, a member of Mensa, is a charitable member of the community. He's pledged 20% of all click-through revenue from his publishing site to various causes having to do with increasing literacy. He recently walked 40 miles - over 18 straight hours - to raise money for the American Cancer Society. From his high school days, he's also a former sub-deacon in the Episcopal Church.

He resides in New York City and Santa Monica, CA, but misses South Florida terribly.
